ASUS Eee Top 問世

華碩電腦宣布，多功能觸控式桌上型電腦Eee Top在美國正式發表。

Eee Top PC使用者還可以使用Opera瀏覽器內建的 widget小工具，直接連到Opera Widget主頁面的小工具教學說明、時鐘工具、字典以及行事曆等。而Opera瀏覽器的「快速撥號(Speed Dial)」功能在這台華碩的觸控式電腦也一併客製化，讓使用者更輕易地前往喜愛的網站。

etbooks—those tiny, low-priced laptops geared mainly to Web surfing—have become increasingly ubiquitous in the PC marketplace. Nettops are their desktop equivalents—lesser known, but retaining the same low-power/low-price orientation as the netbooks. There have been a few attempts at the nettop, including the Zonbu Desktop Mini and ASUS Eee Box. But while both of those require an external display, the ASUS Eee Top 1602’s ($599 list) monitor is built in, making it the first all-in-one nettop PC. The Eee Top is an intriguing alternative to low-cost desktop PCs as well as netbooks. Unlike the first netbooks, it runs Windows XP instead of Linux. The Eee Top also has a neat touch screen and a bigger display than any cheap netbook.
